The public services of e-meteo.gr do not require an account and do not intentionally request a visitor's name or email address.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Consent Mode v2 in Advanced Mode. Before any choice, analytics_storage and all advertising consent fields are set to denied. While consent has not been granted, Analytics cookies remain disabled. In Advanced Mode, limited cookieless measurement signals may be sent to Google together with consent status and ordinary technical request data.

After positive consent, analytics_storage becomes granted and cookies such as _ga and _ga_* may be created. The choice for statistics can be changed or withdrawn at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

Google AdSense and advertising

The Google AdSense code has been installed for website verification and review. As of this update, Google is reviewing the site and no ad units or Auto ads have been enabled, so AdSense ads are not yet being displayed.

If the site is approved and advertising is enabled, Google and participating advertising technology providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process technical information, page information, and ad impressions or interactions to deliver, measure, and secure ads. Where permitted and with the required consent, ads may be personalised based on prior visits to this or other websites. The exact cookies, providers, and retention periods depend on Google’s and its partners’ settings and policies.

For personalised ads to users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent platform integrated with the IAB TCF. A European regulations message has been published in AdSense; before ads are enabled, its display and recording of choices will be confirmed. You can manage personalised-ad settings on Google Ads Settings and read Google’s information about advertising technologies.

Local aggregate counter

The separate local e-meteo.gr counter stores aggregate page views and active time. It does not store IP addresses, user agents, precise location or fingerprints and it honours Do Not Track.

External services and technical data

When search, maps or forecasts are used, the browser may connect to providers such as Open-Meteo, NASA GIBS, OpenStreetMap/Overpass, geoBoundaries and map-tile providers. They may receive ordinary HTTP data such as IP address, browser type and access time under their own policies.

Location and local preferences

Precise location is used only after the user selects the relevant feature and grants browser permission. Units, favourite places, layout and temporary public data may be stored locally to operate the service.

PayPal

An ordinary visit does not load PayPal resources. PayPal is contacted only after a support link or QR code is selected. e-meteo.gr does not store PayPal account or payment details.

Monetag advertising

With your separate consent, e-meteo.gr may enable the Monetag advertising platform, operated by companies in the Propeller Ads group. The service may process IP address, country or approximate location, page and referrer URL, browser and operating-system details, access time, advertising interactions and technical identifiers in order to deliver and measure advertising and prevent fraud.

Monetag remains disabled until you choose “Accept all” or specifically enable “Advertising” in Cookie Settings. Advertising push notifications require an additional, separate browser permission and can be withdrawn in the notification settings of your browser or device. Advertising consent can be withdrawn at any time through “Cookie Settings”.

Your data protection rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have, where applicable, the right to be informed and to access personal data concerning you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing and to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Requests are handled free of charge and normally answered within one month, subject to the conditions, restrictions and possible extensions provided by the GDPR. Only information strictly necessary to verify the identity of the requester may be requested.

If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes data-protection law and the matter is not resolved after contacting e-meteo.gr, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Greek supervisory authority:
