How to read this map
The map shows air temperature roughly two metres above ground. Isotherms join locations with similar values and reveal the movement of warmer or colder air masses.
- Apparent temperature is affected by wind, humidity and solar radiation and may differ from measured air temperature.
- Elevation creates substantial differences between nearby places, especially at night and across mountain plateaus.
- A day's maximum and minimum do not necessarily occur at the same hour in every area.

Zoom in for a more local view and select a point for air and apparent temperature at the chosen forecast time.
Important note: Values are forecast-model estimates rather than readings from a weather station. Follow official health and safety advice during heatwaves or freezing conditions.
